A brief description of the courses we provide

 

 

The basic 4 day welding course details:

Day 1 - This will be a MIG welding course that will show you how to set the machine up, strip down, use the controls and select the correct gases to use. Then the pupil will be shown different weld procedures & techniques on various materials i.e. Mild Steel & Stainless Steel.

Day 2 - This course will be as the above welding course but with STICK (MMA).

Day 3 - This course will be as the above welding courses but with TIG (GTAW).

Day 4 - Will be down to the individual on what their favourite welding course was and will be shown more techniques on the preferred machine.

 

The Advanced 4 day welding course details:

This course is down to the individual on what they want to gain and what standard they want to get to on the welding course.

This course will go through different procedures of coded welding techniques on various plate & pipes in Mild Steel & Stainless Steel and will be in various positions i.e. vertical pipe welds, overhead butt welds, route runs and 2, 4 ,6 g asmeix procedures.
